The first Dental Mission took place in July 2002 and since then we have held Dental Missions two to three times a year. Dentists, dental technicians, hygienists and other volunteers from Denmark,  Sweden, Norway, England, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Iran and USA have travelled to Cebu, to help treat the poor in depressed areas in the cities of Cebu, Mandaue, Talisay and Lapulapu, as well as several small islands near Cebu and other bigger islands in the Visayas region.

Through the years, over 35 thousand people have received free treatment, sponsored by companies and individuals from all over the world.

Several times a year we have Dentists and Dental Hygienist from different countries, come to the Philippines to help treat the many poor people from different parts of Cebu, people who cannot afford to go to a dentist. There are many people who have never been to a dentist in their whole life as it is simply too expensive for them.

  1. The Philippines, is a country with more than 100 million people and a very bad oral health situation. The people of the Philippines eat more sugar and drink more soft drinks (like Coca Cola and so on) then any other country in the whole world, measured per capita. This, combined with a lack of education about the important of healthy living, gives an ALARMING situation with the oral care. In the most affected areas, 100% of the children in public schools, grade 1 -7  have 4 – 5 totally rotten teeth.
  2. We welcome dentists, dental hygienists, dental technicians, dental assistants and anyone else who want to give of their services to the poor population in the Visayas region of the Philippines. We have all the equipment and instruments needed, but we need you to come and help us.
  3. Financial aid. The average cost per patient is 300 Pesos. Often patients have more than one tooth that needs to be treated. We give treatment like restoration, extraction and prophylaxis. The patients receive the needed medication free of charge. Your help is greatly appreciated.
